Verification Status Guide

VALID

Valid Certificate

The certificate exists in our records, has not been revoked, and its data matches the original. This is a genuine Value Point certificate.

REVOKED

Revoked Certificate

The certificate was issued by Value Point but has since been revoked by the organisation. A revoked certificate is no longer valid for professional purposes.

TAMPERED

Tampered Certificate

A record with this certificate number exists but the SHA-256 hash does not match. This indicates the certificate data may have been altered after issue.

NOT FOUND

Certificate Not Found

No record matching this certificate number or hash exists in the Value Point database. The certificate may be fraudulent or the number entered incorrectly.

How Value Point Secures Every Certificate

Every certificate issued by Value Point Consultancy is assigned a unique certificate number and a SHA-256 cryptographic hash — a 64-character digital fingerprint computed from the certificate holder's name, course title, issue date and certificate number. If any of this data is altered after issue, the hash will no longer match and the certificate will be flagged as Tampered. This system makes it impossible to produce a fraudulent certificate that will pass verification.

Verification FAQs

Certificates issued before the launch of this verification system may not yet be in the database. If you believe a certificate is genuine but it does not appear, please contact Value Point directly with the certificate details for manual confirmation.
Verification results confirm the record exists in the Value Point database. For formal legal or regulatory purposes, we recommend contacting our office directly to request a written confirmation letter.
A Tampered result means the certificate number exists in our database but the data on the document (name, course or date) does not match what was originally recorded. This strongly suggests the document has been altered and should not be accepted. Please contact us to report this.
The verification database is updated in real time. Certificates are available for verification immediately upon issue.
Simply ask the applicant for their certificate number (printed on the certificate) and enter it into the search box above. The result will confirm whether the certificate is valid, who it was issued to, which course they completed and when.
